The contact message builder
The tool on the Ask Us page runs entirely in your browser. Text you type is not transmitted to us. We receive information only if you choose to email us, in which case we use your message and address solely to reply, and delete correspondence after 12 months unless you ask us to keep it.
Legal basis
We rely on legitimate interests for security logs and on your request when replying to emails, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, and object to or restrict processing. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
